De retour en France, il fut charg\u00e9 des services hydrauliques et des voies ferr\u00e9es en Corse puis \u00e0 Bayonne. Il fut ainsi pr\u00e9pos\u00e9 \u00e0 la construction des lignes de Bayonne \u00e0 Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, d\u2019Oloron \u00e0 Bedous puis des lignes transpyr\u00e9n\u00e9ennes de Bedous \u00e0 Canfranc et d\u2018Ax-les-Thermes \u00e0 Ripoll. Il terminera sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 Rabat comme directeur des Travaux Publics du
