Il \u00e9tudia et fit construire des routes et voies de chemins de fer dans les arrondissements de B\u00e9thune, d\u2019Arras, de Rouen, puis du d\u00e9partement des Basses-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es. En r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Pau, il suivra les \u00e9tudes et travaux de la ligne d\u2019Oloron \u00e0 Bedous, puis de Bedous \u00e0 Canfranc.
